More About The Kentish Bride

The Kentish Bride began in May 2021 when I was planning my own wedding. I would look on pintrest and instagram for inspo photos and ideas of how to create the perfect wedding. Unfortunately, so many had no owner tagged and if I ever did find the original picture's owner, it would be an image from Dubai from twelve years ago.  This is fine, but I really liked seeing real images, of real weddings in locations that I know.

So, due to this I created The Kentish Bride. An instagram and now blog showcasing some of the best creators, suppliers and photographers in Kent, but also around the UK.

I also wanted to share some tips and advice that I have gathered along my wedding journey, and share with you some opinions from other brides and people within the industry.

About Me

My Name is Becky and I live in Kent. I got married in April 2022 after three postponements due to the craziness of the previous two years.

I have two children and I managed to plan my wedding all whilst caring for them, working my day job and navigating life through a global pandemic.

I am someone whom never dreamed about their wedding day as a young girl and actually wasn't that interested in the whole concept until I got engaged. But the one thing I can say about weddings and brides is that it a community that seems wholehearted and happy, and I am not ready to let that go just yet.
